Dr. Linda McDonald is an exceptional educator and leader. As the Program Director for the Nurse Anesthesia track, she brings a unique combination of vision, expertise, organizational skills, and passion that has helped establish the DNP-NA program as one of the most highly regarded CRNA programs in the nation. Her dynamic intelligence became especially evident during the COVID-19 crisis.
Under her leadership, our program seamlessly transitioned to an entirely online format without any disruption to students’ didactic education. She demonstrated remarkable innovation and resourcefulness, ensuring that clinical training remained on track through advanced, high-tech computer-based simulations. Since stepping into the role of Program Director, Dr. McDonald has built a team of outstanding educators, empowering them with the guidance and support needed to elevate the DNP-NA program even further.
