She gave me hope when I felt hopeless and unsure of myself, and sometimes
that’s all it takes—just a small push of confidence.
that’s all it takes—just a small push of confidence.
I recently experienced a sudden health scare due to a bacterial infection in my hip. I needed
surgery to have my hip drained and stapled, and I’ve now been in the hospital for nine days.
About a week ago, I met Nurse Carime. At first, she wasn’t assigned to me, but she answered a few
of my calls and helped in any way she could, even though she wasn’t my nurse. A few days later, she
officially became my nurse—but only for one day. Honestly, that single day made more of a
difference than all the others combined.
Carime gave me hope when I desperately needed it. She encouraged me to pray, sat with me, talked
with me, and reminded me that I could overcome my past struggles with addiction. We even shared
stories about our kids and families.
I thank God for her. She gave me hope when I felt hopeless and unsure of myself, and sometimes
that’s all it takes—just a small push of confidence. What amazed me most was that someone who
didn’t even know me was willing to take the time to care. We need more nurses like Carime, whose
compassion goes beyond duty and truly touches lives.
Thank you, Nurse Carime, you are a blessing.
God bless you!
