When we brought my dad into the ER, we weren’t sure what exactly was wrong with him, but we knew something was off. We were taken back right away, and that’s where we met Javier.

He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and got to work right away. During the four or five hours we were in the ER before going to the ICU, he was a constant joy, focused, attentive, and compassionate. Even in the midst of a busy shift, Javier never stopped caring for my dad. From stabilizing him to explaining everything that was happening, his warmth and kindness never faltered.

My dad’s health has been tricky for a year or so now, and we’ve met many nurses along the way. None has compared to the level of knowledge, kindness, and genuine compassion that Javier displayed. He made my dad feel truly cared for and safe.
