Trey held us close and was attentive to each visitor's need, which kept our family together while we waded through the deep waters of forgiveness, acceptance, and uncertainty.
My family was sent an angel to take our hurt as we watched over our grandmother during her stay before hospice. We had two days to say goodbye. I traveled 16 hours from France to visit my dear grandmother, and arrived after midnight when I met our angel. Trey brought me fresh coffee and plenty of water, so we could exchange our words of endearment, and then I could hold her hand until she was rested to share again. Our family was in shock at the news of the relapse of cancer, terminal, and hospice. Trey held us close and was attentive to each visitor's need, which kept our family together while we waded through the deep waters of forgiveness, acceptance, and uncertainty. He listened to our happy memories and current hardships of sharing our limited time with all family members, as we wanted to keep ourselves a little longer.
