A patient from another country here visiting family experienced a severe stroke and has been hospitalized here for 3 months. Treveen has developed a friendship with her and makes frequent trips to her unit. She does her hair, brings her jewelry and products from home, along with dresses and clothes to make this patient feel happy, beautiful, and loved, especially since she's away from her family at this difficult time.

I went to visit the patient with Treveen one day and the patient lit up when she entered the room and couldn't stop smiling and looking in her mirror. I told her how special she was, and Treveen replied, "She is my friend." Treveen went above and beyond.
