What stands out to me about Linda is her quiet way of setting a good example for others.
Linda truly has the residents in mind with all that she does. She is very attentive to residents’ needs, providing care and then following up with conditions, orders, or concerns. She is the nurse I want taking care of my loved one, as I know she isn’t going to let something slide.

I have observed Linda at the Beatrice Good Samaritan. She is always very professional. When she comes into my father’s room, she is always courteous and gives my father his insulin and anything else he needs. What stands out to me about Linda is her quiet way of setting a good example for others. If another staff member asks about a specific resident, she quietly goes over to the staff member and gives the information so that other residents and guests do not hear about the first resident. I’ve noticed this on more than one occasion. In short, she makes sure all residents can maintain their dignity. Linda stays busy and gets things done. I appreciate someone like her taking care of my father and the other residents that I have grown to enjoy.

Linda is an LPN at Good Sam Beatrice and works all 4 of the different facilities and never has a bad word about anything. She comes into work and takes care of whatever needs to be done that others have not done in previous shifts. She is on the go from the time she gets to work till the time she goes home. She is one of the most caring people I have ever seen, including nurses at the hospital. When my husband, who has multiple sclerosis, was having a urinary problem, she knew what to do immediately and got things taken care of. She could run a floor all by herself, if needed, but she always has help. She fills in when others call in and say they can’t make it. Things just run much more smoothly and efficiently when she is on our wing.

I am a resident who requires frequent dressing changes on my legs. Linda is very dedicated to performing this duty early in the day. When she knows it’s on schedule, she will come in and remove the dressings so that I might complete a shower. Then, with a pull of the light call, she rewraps them and completes this task within 15-20 minutes. She’s cheerful and very conscientious.
