Alex didn’t just care for a patient. She cared for a family. Her kindness, empathy, and genuine love made an unforgettable impact.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Alex. In one of the most tender and challenging moments a family can face, Alex showed what true hospice nursing is all about—compassion, dedication, and heart. When she brought a pediatric patient into the ICC, she did so with grace and unwavering confidence.

Alex ensured the ICC staff were well-informed and prepared, offering education and guidance while also comforting the patient’s parents during an incredibly distressing time. She stayed hours beyond her scheduled shift, simply because her heart wouldn’t let her leave until the family felt safe and supported. But Alex’s care didn’t stop at clinical excellence. During baby Kinsleigh’s short time at home, Alex became more than a nurse—she became a source of strength and love for the entire family.

She constantly checked in, making sure mom was sleeping, eating, and had everything she needed. Her care extended to every detail, including the creation of the sweetest gifts to honor and remember Kinsleigh, keepsakes that will be cherished forever.

Alex didn’t just care for a patient. She cared for a family. Her kindness, empathy, and genuine love made an unforgettable impact. We are deeply grateful for the way she showed up—with skill, with heart, and with a level of compassion that defines the very best of hospice care.

Thank you, Alex, for being the kind of nurse who changes lives.
