What we appreciated most about Bobbie was that she is overflowing with compassion for her patients. Her presence made us feel at home and so much more relaxed when we really needed it. We had an early miscarriage a couple of years ago, and we seemed to have slipped through the cracks of a different healthcare system. It was a scary and heartbreaking experience that left us feeling like no one cared for us and almost made us give up on having a family. Bobbie was one of many at LKH who healed our mistrust and our hearts. We came to the birth center to have our baby, and were so happy to meet Bobbie. We loved how she partnered with us to try to achieve our birth plans. She was happy to answer our questions and take time to explain things to us when we didn't understand. She perfectly balanced giving us our personal space during our stay and being attentive when it mattered. Knowing that we had someone we trusted taking care of the three of us during our cesarean really helped us through one of the most daunting experiences of our lives. The way she carried out her work was with the utmost professionalism. Her thoughtfulness and critical thinking are among her best qualities. Bobbie has a special place in our hearts after helping us bring our baby into the world, and we will never forget her.
