Kristin went above and beyond for a patient that wasn't hers when she wasn't even asked. The patient was very anxious and a very difficult stick. Kristin was not only able to obtain IV access but was able to help redirect and calm the patient who was withdrawing from heavy opiate use. She stabilized the patient, calmed him, and greatly improved the chances for a great patient outcome.
