Thank you, Rebecca. We hope you realize what a great nurse you are!
Rebecca was on top of the situation of our son’s critical condition from the time he entered the ICU. Our 42-year-old son has an intellectual disability as well as Apert Syndrome. He has cranial facial deformities, speech and language difficulties, and many other abnormalities.

Rebecca did not see his physical differences. Her main goal was to take care of his needs, as well as ours, and give him the best care possible. As soon as a therapist or medical personnel entered the ICU room, she was always there to communicate with them about P's needs and condition. We especially liked her assertiveness and confidence, which helped ease the situation. She was truly there not as a “job,” but as a dedicated health care provider.

She exhibited great clinical skills and was always on top of his care. It was evident to us that she does this with each and every patient she cares for. P has been hospitalized many times in his 42 years, and has had 30+ cranial facial surgeries, and we have had many nurses over the years, but have never had a nurse as dedicated as Rebecca. This is a great accomplishment in our eyes, and we were glad that she had the dedication to be able to take such good care of our son.

Thank you, Rebecca. We hope you realize what a great nurse you are!
