I truly feel that Elizabeth is one of the most caring nurses I’ve ever met.
I came to the hospital as I thought I had pulled a muscle in my chest. I am 40, no way I was having a cardiac event! After some testing, it was determined that I was having a cardiac event of some kind. I was admitted and advised that I would be having a cardiac Cath the following morning.
The next morning, my nurse came in along with the cardiologist to advise that I would be going down now, as they had a spot open for me. I did not have much time to even worry about this, as everyone did a great job to keep me calm. I arrived at the Cath lab, and so many wonderful staff members welcomed me and explained everything that was going to happen. Dr. Tang explained everything to me, including the blockage he found, and showed the stent being placed. I was very calm during the procedure and glad that he was able to fix me up.
The procedure was completed, and I was out in recovery. I was greeted by Elizabeth Seeders, RN. Elizabeth was very attentive to the fact that I was having some unusual discomfort in my hip, as well as my vitals being out of range. I could not be more thankful for her fast response to the event. I was taken for imaging immediately and directly to the OR to repair my retroperitoneal bleed. I asked multiple times for Elizabeth, and she was always there to assure me I was going to be ok. In fact, while in the procedure, I requested her to be by me, and she was there within minutes.
After the procedure was completed and I was taken to my room, Elizabeth made it a point to come and check on me. I truly feel that Elizabeth is one of the most caring nurses I’ve ever met. She was such a positive and reassuring individual. I will forever be thankful to her and the experience she provided me during this unfortunate time. I would pick her to care for me, and or my family each and every time!
