Brian was the dialysis nurse of my patient when the patient suddenly went into cardiac arrest. After 30 minutes of resuscitation attempts, we unfortunately lost the patient. He stayed after the code ended, when almost everyone else had left, and helped clean up the room. He even took the trash for me and gave me words of encouragement. He is always so kind and helpful, and I am always thankful for it, but I was especially thankful this day.

Brian is a nurse I would let take care of my family, and he is definitely a nurse who deserves recognition for his kindness, respect, and compassion, not only toward patients, but toward coworkers as well.
