Robert was there on the day my dad was discharged to home hospice. He took the extra time and put in the extra effort to talk through exactly what he was doing for the peg tube, since it was something my mom and I would have to take care of going forward. There was a discussion about certain pills that could be crushed and go through the tube vs some that would be placed under the tongue. He printed a summary. He highlighted everything he thought we may need to go through the effort of crushing so that it would be an easier visual for us. Robert made sure we had everything we needed for a successful transition home. He also had an extremely nice bedside manner, mixed with a bit of light-heartedness. He constantly made sure we were all taken care of.
