Rachael Files is a phenomenal trauma nurse. Our ED runs as smoothly and efficiently as it does due to her work. She holds herself to high standards and has a natural way of keeping the staff on the same page, always bringing clear communication and positivity. When constructive criticism is due, it is delivered clearly and kindly, with advice and suggestions. Rachael is very supportive of her team and offers incredible care to the patients we see. She always makes sure patients are receiving the best care we can offer, is on top of ensuring anything their provider needs is taken care of, and is well prepared for anything that happens. She is always anticipating the needs of not only the provider and patients, but also the current team on hand and the oncoming team as well. Making sure everyone is well-versed in the situation and maintaining excellent composure in any potentially stressful situation. She is always offering assistance to her team, as a whole and individually, encouraging each person to do their best and supporting them in any way she can to help them succeed.
