Our journey has been so difficult and, honestly, heartbreaking, but this team has helped us find joy shining through despair.
My fiancé has been in the Stem Cell Transplant center for nearly three weeks after a cancer relapse. He has undergone many treatments while here, and many have failed. With limited options remaining, we knew what the next day would bring.

Through all of these scary moments, these nurses have supported us through it all. We were told by his doctors that if we wanted to be wed, we should do it sooner rather than later, and this amazing team sprang into action and helped make our wish come true. We were married in his hospital room, and our nurses held a reception for us.

They arranged for us to have a cake, flowers, decorations, sparkling cider, and even made sure I had my "something blue". Our journey has been so difficult and, honestly, heartbreaking, but this team has helped us find joy shining through despair.

We have been told in this unit that "Where there is light, there is HOPE," and we will never forget the light that this incredible team has shown to us and helped deliver hope!

Thank you all!
