Beth was my nurse during my second chemo infusion at the Orchid Center cancer infusion center. She was compassionate, kind, understanding, and very professional. She was with me during my four-hour infusion and checked in with me to see how I was feeling and how I was handling my infusion. She was always near for a comforting word or gentle smile.

I had an ok time until the end of my infusion. I got up to use the restroom, and upon my return, I felt lightheaded, had trouble breathing, couldn't speak, and couldn't move my hands. Her quick actions made this experience far more tolerable and less traumatic for me. Another nurse, Maria D, came in to also help me. I was put on oxygen and given appropriate meds to counter the effects. Beth held my hand and talked me through the whole experience. She had my husband come in and sit with me.

Both Beth and Maria showed so much care and compassion. I look forward to more positive interactions with the two of them. Kaiser has been wonderful, at every level.
