She helped me a lot. She gave me lots of emotional support-was very attentive to my health-answered all my doubts.
I was 36 weeks pregnant and had gestational diabetes and low hemoglobin. We came to the Emergency Room due to high blood pressure and dizziness. I was admitted, and my son was born. When we went through the Emergency Room, Alexia Baler received us with a smile and great kindness.
As the days passed, I was diagnosed with preeclampsia. Alexia was always by my side during the night shift, helping me, taking care of me, supporting me. She was present on the day I went into labor with my son. She helped me a lot. She gave me lots of emotional support-was very attentive to my health-answered all my doubts.
When I had the birth, due to the delicate state of health, she cared for my son, helping me at all times. She guided me on how to feed him, and she was concerned for my recovery.
When my catheter was discontinued, after about five days without walking, she was with me, helping step by step, until the day my room was changed; and I no longer had contact with her.
Of course, I expressed to her my great affection and fondness that I have had for her from the first day. This is why I consider her to be one of the best nurses on the night shift in this unit. Without knowing my language, she was able to make herself understood.
