Bill shows the utmost knowledge of how to treat what I was going through and make the experience as smooth as possible. He even took the time to explain how his many roles work within a hospital, and I appreciated that he pulled a chair and talked extensively.

I quickly realized I had a very wise, perceptive nurse because he could anticipate my symptoms before they developed into crisis-like symptoms, and this helped me have my first night of a significant amount of sleep, whereas the previous night I had only 30 minutes. He gave me full freedom to walk and burn any excess energy and get my legs and heart comfortable with exertion.

He completely understood my point of view on CIWA and some of the downsides of it. This expertise allowed my nights with him as my nurse to be worry-free. Bill is an ultimate expert, and his greeting the first night was “You’ve been around, but I haven’t cared for you, and you wouldn’t forget this ray of sunshine!” So funny and true!
