Nicole was nominated by a family member who called this into the Admin Supervisor. The son called and said they had decided to put his mom in hospice. He leaned on nurse Nicole for guidance and strength, and she rose to the occasion. He felt that Nicole was put there at that time and was the perfect nurse for his mom and their family. Nicole kept his mom comfortable and kept them informed along the way.

The son started crying on the phone and said, “We do not know what we would have done without Nicole's kind words and compassion.” He got worried when they were talking about moving her to a hospice facility, and Nicole gently spoke to them and reassured them that she felt that their mom would pass here. That truly made them happy, because they loved the care they were receiving here, and of course, Nicole, he said.

His mom sadly passed away, and he was so happy that Nicole was there for the family, and they even hugged goodbye. He could not say enough kind words regarding Nicole. He said again, God put her there for us, and she was a perfect fit to help us along this journey.
