Sherie came to me and listened to my story. She told me about her nieces and how hard it was to raise them. Sherie listened to me and really cared about what I had to say. She had lots of encouraging things to say, about everything from job prospects to empathizing with the emotional experiences I was working through.

She really cared, and it was so different from what I’ve experienced before. I feel 100% safe in this hospital; they should hire more people like Sherie! She is great at her job and cares about people. I’ve never had anyone care about me like that. It was outside of my comfort zone, but I really appreciated how Sherie took time out to care about me.

I will never forget about her because I am a little hopeful about my future now. Before her, I had no hope, but that is no longer true.
