Marian is a dedicated and loyal employee. She is available for all residents and employees on numerous occasions. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate peers while caring for the residents. Marian brings joy to residents and staff through strong communication skills and remains a team player. She consistently works after hours to help out the unit and takes charge when necessary. She is the unit champion for Falls and medication errors. Marianis is instrumental in reducing fall rates and medication errors on the unit, thereby improving patient care. On numerous occasions, infection control has made rounds on the unit and recommended several changes. She, without question, follows up and identifies interventions such as obtaining bags from SPD for the unit to maintain oxygen tubing per policy. Marian performs environmental rounds and collaborates with the nurse manager and me in identifying solutions to the issues. She remains pleasant to staff and residents. She is a true asset to the organization. Marian precepts staff, newly hired, and implements position responsibilities and continues to demonstrate leadership and creative approaches in her role as a Nurse on the unit. She has excelled in her abilities by delivering and improving collaborative strategies with team members. She is well organized and has demonstrated wonderful communication and analytical skills. She remains one of our unit's wound care champions. The dedication, commitment, and contributions to the unit are well recognized and have inspired others to provide evidence-based care that improves residents' well-being.
