I cared for a patient after Elisha and then the day before. They were here from out of town, and the mom did not have anyone else here to help, so she was at her baby’s side 24/7. The mom informed me that Elisha had brought her a comfortable pillow from home so the mom could get better sleep while in the hospital.

Elisha also took clothes home to launder for them. Elisha has an incredibly kind heart and probably does things like this for families all the time, but she is not the type to ever let anyone know how above and beyond she goes. She is humble and does these things purely out of a desire to serve and help her patients and their families.

I would’ve never have known she did this if the patient’s mom hadn’t told me. I wanted to recognize Elisha for being an amazing nurse, coworker, and human being.
