Mr. Rabih is not just a boss for me but a true leader who consistently creates a supportive, respectful environment, leading by his example and inspiring us to provide the highest quality of care not only for the patient but also to each other.
I would like to recognize Mr. Rabih Issa, EMS Dhahran Manager. I believe my manager possesses undeniable leadership skills, compassion for his staff, and unwavering dedication to both patients and our team in EMS. I can truly attest that he is different from my other supervisor or manager that I had in the past, and he is one of the reasons why I am happy to stay in EMS-Dhahran. Not every day can we find a compassionate leader, a manager who has the heart to understand and respect each staff member under his management.
He is not only a good manager but also a thoughtful one. I remembered the moment on my birthday when I was surprised to receive a personal greeting from him, knowing that he was on vacation at that time. I told him that I didn’t expect his greeting since he was spending his time with his family, but I was touched by his reply, saying, “Being on vacation does not mean to be disconnected from my second family! And my team.” These words echo in my heart and give a great sense that I am on the right team with the right manager.
Working in the Emergency Department with a high level of stress that requires us a lot of energy is often exhausting and takes a toll on both our physical and mental health, but knowing that our manager listens to us and advocates for our welfare makes a huge difference. This is evident with a strong sense of shared governance among our team that supports and enables our voice to be heard. Witnessing how he is working his best both for our team and for our patients is an inspiration for me to do my best and to contribute as much as I can towards achieving our goals of excellence in EMS.
I am grateful and proud to work under his leadership in this organization, for Mr. Rabih is not just a boss for me but a true leader who consistently creates a supportive, respectful environment, leading by his example and inspiring us to provide the highest quality of care not only for the patient but also to each other.
I truly admire his integrity and how he always stands by his word. Whenever asked about his way of dealing with his subordinate, he often says this “The way I expect to be treated is the same way I will treat my team” and this why his word of honor is something genuinely admire that sets a great example to us.
I believe that it’s about time to recognize his hard work. He has earned it.
Thank you!
