I was scheduled for an afternoon cholecystectomy. However, several emergencies occurred on the same day and my surgery was too late in the day and late in the day. I was anxious, upset, and hurting, and just wanted the surgery to be done and over with. From the second Jendayi became my nurse, all my worries dissipated. All my questions were answered. She tracked the doctors down to get me more meds when I asked and needed them. When I became frustrated, she validated my feelings and assured me that she was in constant communication with the doctor to get my surgery time. She listened to me and helped ease my worries with her words of encouragement. When I was finally picked up for surgery, I was comfortable and ready to go, all thanks to Jendayi. Her care continued after the surgery. She helped me walk and assisted me into the bathroom safely. She is an angel in a human form. I am so grateful she was part of my care team. Her compassion and kindness meant the world to me. It was imperative that I recognized her hard work and dedication. Please don't ever change. The world needs more Nurse Jendayi!
