My experience with Will has been great. Tomorrow will be a whole week since I came to this hospital, and no one has taken better care of me than he has. He has a great bedside manner, and he has done so much to help raise my spirits and help me feel better.

I was admitted in early August and found out I had type one diabetes. It was such a shock and extremely overwhelming. I was admitted to PCU, and Will was one of the nurses taking care of me. I was familiar with Will when he worked at Starbucks, so it was great to see a friendly face. I know Will has worked hard to get here, and seeing him work in this new setting blew me away! He was always so kind and respectful. Will makes his patients feel like lifelong friends. He explained every single thing he was going to do, so I was not scared. He checked in often, and if there was a question he was not quite sure about, he did not hesitate to find out. Will brings a sense of calm and friendliness with him wherever he goes. Colquitt Regional is blessed to have him, and I know he will do great things.

Will took such great care of me. He talked to me about more than just medical things, and that made me feel like more than just a patient. He didn’t want my depression to settle in, so we talked a lot while he was in my room doing nursing things. He is very knowledgeable, and I felt so comfortable with him as my nurse. I felt very confident in the care he gave me, and I hope that if I have to be a patient in PCU in the future, that he is my nurse.
