Kaitlyn is very accommodating and friendly. When I asked her if it would be possible to take a shower, she immediately asked the doctor, and once he consented, she got everything I could possibly need! If she does this for me, I know that she treats all of her patients with the same concern and kindness. She will always ask if there is anything I need and lets me know that I can call her if I need. It's nurses like Kaitlyn who make the uncertainty of this disease bearable. Being in the hospital facing an uncertain future is a very stressful experience. Although nobody has any answers yet, Kaitlyn demonstrated empathy as we discussed my situation and provided calming concern. It's nurses like Kaitlyn that make coming to this hospital a positive experience. When asked by my doctor if I want to go to a different hospital, I always choose NCH because they have nurses like Kaitlyn!
