Jacqueline Newton is very giving and truly cares about the safety, wellness, and comfort of our veterans. A male patient with foot drop left without shoes. None were available from Volunteer Services or in our ward closet. Jacqueline went to the canteen and bought him a pair of shoes with her own money. The Veteran was so happy! He sat in the hallway, showing everyone his new shoes. He said it was the first time in 10 years he had new shoes on his feet. This is just one of many examples of Jacqueline’s extraordinary service.
