She has successfully managed hundreds of nursing staff across multiple service lines, including Emergency Departments, Observation Services, Trauma Services, and Stroke Programs. Her dedication to patient safety and staff development has left an indelible mark on our organization, not only in her leadership here at Banner Ocotillo but also while previously serving at Banner Del Webb and Banner Estrella Medical Centers. She possesses comprehensive clinical knowledge spanning emergency medicine, critical care, trauma services, and observation care. She maintains current certifications, including ACLS/PALS/BLS and CEN, demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence.
Sandi has cultivated an environment of mutual respect and open communication between nursing staff and our medical team, which is critical to our success. As an adjunct faculty member and former educator, Sandi contributed significantly to nursing education, including developing standardized Banner Health guidelines and assisting with NLN accreditation processes.

• Successfully obtained Initial American College of Surgeons Trauma Level III verification in 2018
• Implemented a satellite Emergency Department due to community growth in 2019
• Led BosWebb Throughput Project, achieving 72.60% of patients discharged within 2 hours
• Created COVID Treatment Tent Playbook for the entire system
• Achieved exceptional VOICE survey results with 99% Leadership Effectiveness among direct reports
• Pivotal role as a member of the original leadership team for Banner Estrella Medical Center's development and opening
• Successfully implemented Care Transformation and Clinical Informatics initiatives that became system-wide standards
