I am the mother of a 10-year-old who was admitted with sickle cell pain and fever. We entered the room tired and exhausted, as we were admitted from the EMS. From the moment Rosel admitted my son, she gave him care and reassured us, and showed genuine concern. Rosel went beyond the routine responsibilities, checking and monitoring routinely without having to chase her. Even when my son spiked at night, I was watching her giving the best bedside care I have witnessed, and she was giving compresses for the fever and changing his clothes when he sweated and supported us with entire empathy. Thanks to Rosel for not only being a highly capable nurse but also for being compassionate and a human being who touched our hearts.
