Bonnie was truly focused on me, the patient. Although she had specific duties to attend to, she did those things in a manner that made me feel like she was my personal nurse.  My situation was very strange, and Bonnie did everything possible to provide not only medical comfort but also calmness for my mind when I became anxious and had lots of questions.

The patient, hospitalized multiple times in a short period, also recalled how Bonnie’s efforts comforted his family. He said that he had only immediate family visitors, and Bonnie helped them get through things as a family. She recognized the anxious moments for them and went above and beyond to assure them that they were in ‘good hands’ at York Hospital.

This was the patient’s second visit to York Hospital in just a few weeks, following a recurring illness. He explained how Bonnie’s consistent care had a lasting impact. He felt his timing was great since Bonnie was his day nurse for most of his stay. She made him feel so welcomed and again offered her personal and professional care. She always focused on the positive and helped him look towards the future as he recovered. Her attention to detail, not just medical but personal, was truly outstanding.

He concluded that York Hospital should be very proud to have Bonnie on its staff.
