Nicole continuously asked about my well-being with frequent visits and showed great compassion for my broken leg situation, saying she was very sorry that I had to experience what I was going through. She showed great confidence in her peers, and all involved made positive comments. Nicole was very timely in her checks and always looked out for my well-being.

She was not afraid to share a bit of her personal life, which created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Even though she is relatively new to the RN role, I could tell she loves her work and the people she works with. I could tell she would do everything she could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks, Nicole, for your commendable service and just being you.

Nicole is the most compassionate nurse we have come in contact with during our daughter's four Crohn’s surgeries. She is honest, attentive, and on top of things. Nicole reads the doctor's notes, orders thoroughly, and carries out the order. This has been a very painful and scary ordeal for our daughter. Believe me, she has dealt with pain for years, so when she sobs and begs for pain relief, she is surely in pain.

Nicole is the only nurse who didn’t run her through the wringer before giving her pain meds, even though the doctor wrote orders to give herpain meds as requested. Nicole visited with my daughter, as well as her father and me. She never acted as if we were burdens.  Although my daughter is 38 years old, she is only a child. I should not have to worry about her safety. When Nicole was on shift, we did not fear for her. This hospital is so lucky to have Nicole. She is an amazing nurse. If I were a hospital administrator, I would do everything in my power to keep her.
