Carl was my nurse last night, and he just went way over and beyond in taking care of me. He is very knowledgeable in his job. He was so helpful and caring, and I had a very good experience. I have been to several other hospitals and had numerous surgeries, but I honestly don’t remember ever being treated any better. Any person would be very lucky to have him as their nurse.

He was very motivated and worked all night diligently to make sure I was comfortable and didn’t need anything. He carefully explained each procedure he did in giving me my medication, and he was right there with me to make sure I didn’t fall when I had to go to the bathroom. I just can’t think of enough good things to say about Carl. He is a true asset to the hospital, and I highly recommend him for any award, as he certainly qualifies for recognition for his accomplishments.

I’ll be going home in a little while, and I’m sure I’ll be progressing well, thanks to Carl for all his help and support. You guys are truly blessed to have such a fine employee working in your hospital. Thank you for making my stay safe and pleasant.

Carl is an excellent nurse. His caring and compassion are evident on each visit. Mostly he can provide dignity to his patient, truly above beyond!
He is also consistently warm, gentle, and empathic. Additionally, his knowledge and practical application of medical care as it relates to my hip replacement have been superior. I am grateful to have had yet another great experience at Duke Regional Hospital!
