She was our nurse for the first three days. In just that short time, she took the time to get to know my husband as a person, not just a patient. She made sure he was clean every day, and his hair was brushed and looked presentable every day I got there. We talked about his life outside of the hospital, and she made sure that she answered any questions I had or found the doctor for me to talk to ease my mind.

In October, I knew they were putting a trach in my husband to wake him up, and I was never so happy to call that morning and hear a familiar voice that I knew would be with him for that procedure when I could not be there. When I got there, she assured me that everything went well. She was able to finally talk to him while he was awake, and I believe she was just as relieved as I was to see my husband's eyes open. Top-notch care, compassionate, and an advocate nurse.
