Jackie provided extraordinary care to my daughter, who was born at 23 weeks and 6 days, and our family spent 80 days in the NICU before she required transfer to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Those early days were filled with fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak - but she helped carry us through them.

From the moment she began caring for her, Jackie made the NICU feel less like a hospital and more like a welcoming, comforting home. She offered unwavering emotional support to us as parents and made our daughter’s care a warm, joyful, and loving experience. She communicated with us beautifully, always making sure we understood what was happening and allowing us to feel like active partners in our daughter's care. She advocated fiercely for our baby, treating her with a level of kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention that brought us immense peace. She has a special way of creating a fun, uplifting atmosphere for both parents and grandparents, even in the most stressful moments. Her compassion is genuine, her skill is exceptional, and her heart is truly rare.

Without Jackie, this journey would have been much more difficult than it already was. She showed us every day what it means to be a caring, compassionate, and deeply dedicated nurse. She became like family to us. We will forever be grateful for the love she showed our daughter and for the relationship we built with her through the hardest chapter of our lives.
