It really helped my wife to be able to ask questions and be given answers to them from Holly.
My wife has been a patient here at Leesburg Hospital with heart issues for the past 5 days. She has had several tests to determine what caused her seizures. She has been under the care of Holly LaPere, who is, in our opinion, an "excellent nurse"!
She is caring, patient, compassionate, and willing to take the time to answer our questions and explain things in understandable language to us.
Holly also has a good sense of humor and the ability to communicate explanations to us.
A hospital stay is always stressful to both the patient and the family. It really helped my wife to be able to ask questions and be given answers to them from Holly.
In summation, I would love to nominate Holly LaPere for the DAISY Award for extraordinary nurses.
