This professor is the most compassionate, open-minded, and the voice of reason for the Tampa campus. She is the sunshine that brightens the meetings during times of hardship and always has a beautiful smile on her face. She is selfless and always does for others. This professor instills the mission and values of living the healing ministry of Christ in all of her students.

She takes the time to listen and understand those around her. Her colleagues and students value her as a person, educator, and nurse. Every day, she serves as a role model and is actively looking to find ways in which to improve herself, to be the best version of herself. She has truly touched my heart over the years during difficult times. She truly cares. She is cherished as a mother, wife, daughter, friend, nurse, and nursing educator. This extraordinary nurse educator is Michele Mitchell.
