A family member and guardian of an orthopaedic trauma patient called let me know that Josh had gone above and beyond to assist with transitioning her special needs care to the next provider. The patient is a resident of a home near Jackson, and upon the request of the guardian, was transferred to the care of a provider closer to their hometown for continued post op care and appointments.

She said that Josh was very kind and helpful in the office and on the phone. He made the appointments with the new provider, contacted them, sent the records, and made phone calls to ensure they had received everything needed to continue her niece's post-op care and recovery. Her exact comment, "I worked for BCBS for years, and when you run into a nurse like Josh, you know they genuinely care for their patients. I want to recognize him for doing an excellent job."
