Mona goes above and beyond for our patients. She is known to purchase items needed out of her own money if it is in the best interest of the patient and a barrier to discharge. She recently recommended an undergarment to prevent a patient from pulling or tugging on her lines. She purchased it herself for the patient because the patient desperately needed it, and it was not something we could order under insurance.

She diligently advocates for the patients and what is the safe and best outcome for all patients, regardless of insurance or ability to pay for services. Mona motivates and mentors staff, sharing a vision and enthusiasm for achieving better outcomes; she always takes the time to assist newer staff with her knowledge and background. She creates an environment where staff see and feel her integrity, compassion, respect, and enthusiasm to achieve better outcomes.”
