Madison is an exemplary nurse, deeply respected by both the OMH staff and the patients she serves. Her compassionate, steady presence provides a vital source of comfort, particularly during the most challenging clinical moments. This was recently evidenced when she went above and beyond to ensure a patient’s comfort during their transition to hospice care.

Her grandson—a fellow nurse—recognized her extraordinary care, stating: “I know how difficult it is to watch patients and families you have come to know move toward the end of their lives. You made that day so much easier for Nana and all of us. Thank you for everything you do.”
