Jeff was amazing!

From the minute we were transferred to the ICU, his constant care and attention to my mother were noticed. We were in the ICU for Jeff's day shift.

The things that impressed me the most about Jeff and made our visit to the ICU a positive experience:

1. He never missed a thing. He was super attentive to my mom's vitals and output. As soon as he walked into the room, he already knew her stats. He seemed to check in twice as much as the other nurses.

2. Always on top of meds, both IV and pills.

3. Laughed with us and was very personable. He enjoyed our funny stories while he worked and added some of his own, and he thoroughly answered our million questions.

4. Showed great respect for my elderly mother by calling her by her first name. He NEVER used baby-type language, never called her “hon” or “honey” as others did, and never talked to her like she was ignorant. That meant so much to me.

5. And finally, my favorite: he had his own version of a tool belt! It was a waist pack filled with essential items like scissors, a screwdriver, and such—prepared for whatever emergency at his fingertips.

I noticed Jeff's skills and experience! He should teach other nurses how to be exceptional in their careers.
