Stacy has been a rock during these tough times. She brings helpful ideas to the team and is always looking for ways we can do better.
I would like to recognize Stacy as an outstanding nurse. Stacy displays dedication, compassion, and leadership in her work. She consistently goes above and beyond, frequently volunteering to cover extra shifts and stepping in whenever needed. She has a strong work ethic and serves as a mentor and role model to the nurses. Stacy really shone the day of the tornado.
She was very proactive and responsive. She was quick to notify the administration and incident command as the situation unfolded, ensuring clear, timely communication. She took immediate steps to shelter her patients and coworkers, prioritizing safety above all else. After the event passed, she assisted with relocating patients to a secure area and assisted with triage and treatment. She remained on-site to ensure that everyone was safe and cared for.
The very next day, Stacy returned to work at the temporary location. She was key in helping organize operations and get our team up and running in the school. During the summer, she went out of her way to host a get-together at her home for the nursing and EMS staff. This gathering offered a much-needed opportunity for connection, relaxation, and healing during an incredibly stressful time. Stacy’s compassion extends beyond her patients. She is deeply caring toward her coworkers and always ensures everyone feels supported and included.
Stacy has been a rock during these tough times. She brings helpful ideas to the team and is always looking for ways we can do better. Her help has been a big part of getting us back on our feet and continuing to care for our patients. Stacy really represents what nursing is all about.
