I showed up at Western State Hospital with a lot of hip pain and body aches. Miss Jo had compassion and treated everyone with respect and fairness. She is polite and very good at her job. Miss Jo went above and beyond.

She not only made sure I ate before I took my Ibuprofen because I have bleeding ulcers in my GI tract that are clamped off, but also made sure I drank plenty of water to protect me from it. Miss Jo also went and got me an egg crate mattress for my bed at 2:00 am. She also helped me put it on my bed and put my sheet back on. She showed care.

My stay at WSH was truly made better by this nice woman, and I am thankful for her. She really is one of the best staff nurses on the 2 Elm unit. She kept a close check on me to make sure I was okay and taking my medications as safely as possible.
