A mother nominated Jeanne Losurdo, RN. after her daughter received care for a broken leg at the clinic.

“She spoke to my little one with such gentleness, patience, and compassion, getting down to her level, explaining things in a way she could understand and finding ways to make her smile in the midst of fear and uncertainty,” the mother wrote. “Jeanne was so caring and patient with our daughter, who was in a lot of pain. She brought her stickers, told her stories, and helped calm her after an hour of screaming.

During X-rays, my daughter asked for her, and Jeanne was happy to help. Today, she called just to check on our daughter and see how she is doing. Jeanne wasn’t just clinically excellent; she cared for my daughter as if she were her own. Her kindness turned a traumatic experience into one of comfort, trust, and healing.

It’s hard to put into words how much it meant to have a nurse like Jeanne by our side. She represents everything that is good about nursing: a healing hand, a listening ear, and a heart full of compassion. We will always remember the difference she made in our lives.
