The story of my recovery from four fractured ribs, severe blood loss, and a full-body hematoma is, in every sense, a testament to the extraordinary impact of a singular healthcare professional, Kathryn "Kat" Moore. As a nurse in St. Anthony's CommonSpirit Emergency Department Observation Unit (3rd floor), Kat was entrusted with my care.
