I would like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank Ashley, the ER nurse who cared for my daughter during a very difficult time. My daughter recently had her tonsils and adenoids removed and was experiencing severe complications afterward. Despite being on pain medication, her pain became unbearable, and we ended up in the ER for the third time.

She was suffering from an intense migraine, was unable to move her neck, and was extremely sensitive to light and noise. From the moment Ashley came out to get us, she showed exceptional kindness and compassion. She immediately brought us back, shut off the lights, and closed the doors to help minimize my daughter’s pain. Even during a busy shift change, Ashley was attentive, patient, and truly focused on my daughter’s needs.

She checked on her promptly after medications were given and made a point to come see her before she left her shift, which meant so much to us. The care didn’t stop there. The next morning, I had to call because I needed a new prescription due to pharmacy hours, and I had not realized our usual Walgreens was closed. I was so relieved when Ashley answered the phone. Not only did she remember us, but she also asked how my daughter was doing and shared that she had been wondering about her. That level of genuine care is so meaningful to a worried parent.

Ashley immediately contacted the doctor, arranged for a new prescription, and let us know we could pick it up right away. This was especially helpful given the limited pharmacy hours on a Sunday. Her quick action and willingness to help made an extremely stressful situation much more manageable. I am truly so thankful to Ashley for her compassion, professionalism, and dedication. She is an outstanding nurse and a wonderful example of what patient care should look like. I’m so grateful for everything she did for my daughter.
