Kim is the first person to go above and beyond to ensure everybody is safe, not just physically but mentally as well.
Kim is our RN Supervisor for the UHS Spine Care and Pain Management Department. She is a very selfless individual, perfect for the role she is in. With the population of clients we see here, many times this is a disheartening job. However, Kim has what it takes to keep pushing through and keeps everyone positive, patients, and staff. Kim shows compassion with every phone call or face-to-face interaction she has. She listens with a purpose and cares about everyone.
Many times, Kim can turn a conversation from angry to relieved, which gives many of our patients a person to trust. Kim is the first person to go above and beyond to ensure everybody is safe, not just physically but mentally as well. There is not a single person in our office who has not needed a "debriefing" moment, and Kim has been that person to provide us that safe space. Not only is she a safe space we can trust to vent to, but we also trust her to jump in and help us if any of us are falling behind.
Her motto is "just let me know where you need me, and I'll be there." And all of us wholeheartedly know that is true. Kim has taken her time to learn every single one of our jobs in this office, and even when she doesn't believe she is confident in the task, she still conquers it. I truly believe that Kim is the best role model for the core values of UHS. There is not a day that goes by that she does not exemplify one or more of these values.
