Honestly, Jane could earn a DAISY nomination every shift that she works. She is amazing in so many ways. The past two weeks have been busy with high acuity and high volume. We admitted a cooling patient in the last hour of Jane's shift. I was in charge and already knew Jane did not want to work extra hours this night.

Without me even asking she went into action in placing a continuous video EEG monitoring system with another nurse. Jane is trained to place this piece of equipment when the EEG staff is not on call or on duty. If we do not have staff to place the patient on this monitor, the patient would need to be transferred out.

Jane stayed late beyond her shift so we could meet the patient's needs. I am so grateful to have such a helpful co-worker who is the hardest working among us. Jane knows so many things! She is everyone's "go-to girl."

Jane,  I see how hard you work and how much you care! CSM is very lucky to have you, and our families and patients have the best nurse!
