I have had the pleasure of this nurse's wonderful personality and contagious smile for many days. She has been in all the doctor and other hospital personnel meetings due to my Multiple Sclerosis and having memory loss. I just look at her, and she breaks it all down so I can understand what was said.

We took our first walk around the floor, and it was nice to see the Christmas decor. I have to wear calf and foot braces, and thank goodness she helped me by tying my shoelaces. When we went past other patient rooms, you could see she was definitely well-liked and respected by the other patients. I was very impressed by her knowing the names of all my doctors, their positions, and also the hospitalists, without having to look it up on the computer or asking others.

She is in a great care team that doesn't seem to revolve. She is needed and/or requested by all patients and her fellow care team. I'm glad I had her as my nurse before, but this time we bonded even more. She gave me a lesson in changing my wound bandages, and that was an adventure in itself. It's easy to go and complain about an employee, but no one goes out of their way to give compliments or praise where and when it is due.
