I have been hospitalized for 19 days now. Mary Ann has been my nurse for 5 of those nights. Although the unit I was in was very busy, Mary Ann consistently made me feel like her only patient. Her attention to detail, professional bedside manner, and cheerful attitude always lifted my spirits in my darkest times.

More importantly, she treated me like a person, not as another person in an assembly line! She got to know me. She understood my needs as I was a very sick man. Her communication skills are second to none, and her compassion shines. My only prayer is that if I'm ever hospitalized again, Mary Ann will be my nurse! I am forever grateful to her, and she will never be forgotten by my family or me. I am honored to have this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Mary Ann.
