My 5-year-old daughter, S, has been receiving treatments at the Holabird Infusion Center for two years. When S first began going to Holabird, we were being very mindful to try to counteract the previous medical trauma she had experienced. From our very first infusion, G showed a level of care, compassion, and thoughtfulness that went a long way in helping Sloane ultimately accept these ongoing infusions.

In recent months, Sarah has also joined our team at Holabird, and between her and G, we truly feel we are in the absolute best hands and that my daughter is seen. S is listed for a heart transplant and is not at all an easy "stick". Sarah and G have continuously liaised with our transplant team over the years and recently became strong advocates for S to receive a port, which she will receive in the coming months.

Sarah and G are as much a support to me as they are to S. Taking your small child to receive monthly infusions is a fraught experience, and yet Sarah and G have made it something that S actually looks forward to. The degree to which they've gone above and beyond is more deeply appreciated than they'll ever know.
